แม่วางสกูลสเตย์ คือที่พักภายในโรงเรียนสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวและอาสาสมัครแห่งแรกของประเทศไทย เป็นโครงการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน บริหารโดยบุคลากรของโรงเรียนเอง ยึดหลักเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง ทำแปลงเกษตรอินทรีย์ซึ่งใช้ปุ๋ยหมัก มีเล้าเป็ด เล้าไก่ และสนับสนุนผลิตภัณฑ์พื้นบ้านประเภทต่างๆ สัมผัสโครงการพัฒนาท้องถิ่น อาสาเป็นผู้ช่วยสอนหรือช่วยทำงานในโครงการที่สนใจ เยี่ยมชมหมู่บ้านชนกลุ่มน้อยปกาเกอญอ (กะเหรี่ยง) ร่วมสนทนากับชาวบ้าน รวมทั้งได้สนุกสนานกับกิจกรรมท่องเที่ยวผจญภัยต่างๆ ในป่าเขาอันงดงาม รายได้จากแม่วางสกูลสเตย์จะนำไปใช้ซื้ออุปกรณ์การเรียน สมทบเป็นค่าจ้างครู และปรับปรุงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานเพื่อพัฒนาการศึกษาของเด็กนักเรียนท้องถิ่นต่อไป

Aiming for sustainable development, the primary school maintains a working organic vegetable and animal farm, and strives to support local products. Our guests have the unique opportunity of interacting with the local Karen villagers and are encouraged to volunteer at the school in addition to enjoying numerous tourism activities Chiang Mai’s gorgeous rice paddy fields and mountain terrain. Proceeds from Mae Wang SchoolStay directly benefit the village students of Lions Rattanakosin School in the forms of school supplies, teacher salaries, and infrastructures, improving their educational achievement as a whole.
